This was my very first team that I played for and I had played for them for 2-3 years and I enjoyed every moment I had wth them. The best part about it was when I got the awards for top goal scorer and managers player. After around 3 years I made the decision to leave as I felt that I wouldnt be able to progress in my career if I were to carry on with Bracklesham FC.
After leaving Bracklesham I had made the decision to join Sidelsham FC and play in the Arun and Chichester A league which was a big step for me but it was a task that i was willing to do. This ended up going amazing and i was enjoying every moment at the team. After about 2 years of playing as sidlesham the whole squad has decided to move to selsea. This was beacuse we were dominating the league and we wanted to move into a more experienced league so it would be more of a challenge and so each of us could improve as players.
After moving to Selsea and into a tougher league everything was going well. We were winning games but also losing games, but this is what the game is all about. After the first season in that league we had finished second which was a very big acheivment. I had also won managers player in the same season so that was great for me. Come the second season many players were deciding to leave so there were not many players left. After a couple of weeks i had a text from my manager saying that the team had folded and we were no longer able to play with them. After weeks of searching for a new team there was one that had caught my eye and it was Arundel FC.
I joined Arundel at the age of 7, and I am still playing for them now. There has not been a single moment where I thought of leaving Arundel as I knew that the team could progress and that I could become a better player. But the thing that stopped me for a while was an injury. I had broken my ankle at the age of 10 and wasn't able to play football or do any physical activity for 2 months. At this point I thought of quitting football as I couldn't then see myself progressing after what I did to my ankle. But with the help of my family and my managers thry helped to stay determined to play and become a better player. I am now 15 years old and I am playing for Arundel Fc U18 and I have become a much better player.
